The Cervantes family of Pico Rivera has a special bond with the nurses and doctors of L.A. County’s Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. That’s where their small family grew into a big one, with the delivery of quadruplets in September, 2014. It was a rare and high-risk birth, made even more stressful since the family had lost its medical insurance in the middle of Maria Cervantes’ pregnancy.
