Verinform Evaluation System

All Los Angeles County Residency Training Programs as well as UCLA Training Programs use the online Verinform Evaluation System. This system allows for online completion of evaluations by faculty and housestaff as well as duty hour tracking. Each Resident & Fellow is assigned his or her own User ID and Password for Verinform at the beginning of training. Please contact your Program Coordinator if you need assistance with this program.

Verinform Confidentiality

Evaluations provide departments and the institution as a whole with valuable feedback. Confidentiality of your evaluations is extremely important to us because it allows you to be honest without fear of reprisal.

Some residents think that since residents have an Evaluations of You link on their Verinform home page that faculty members have the same access; this is not the case.  Here is a statement on confidentiality from Verinform:

VerinformRM has safeguards in place to ensure the anonymity of resident evaluations.  By default, faculty do not have an Evaluations of You link on their Verinform homepages.  For those programs that do offer faculty this link, the resident name, rotation name, rotation start and end dates are masked.  Similarly, these fields are masked when program directors run evaluation reports.

Currently only Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine have an Evaluations of You link on their Verinform home page. When these faculty members review evaluations of themselves they cannot see a resident name, rotation name, or rotation dates.
