Emiley Chang, MD

Dr. Emiley Chang is a geriatrician at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine, with an additional MPH degree from UC Berkeley. After training in internal medicine at UC Davis Medical Center, she completed a subspecialty geriatrics fellowship at UCLA. She then went on to complete a NRSA research fellowship in General Internal Medicine at UCLA. During this time, she obtained an MS in Health Policy and Management at the Fielding School of Public Health in health services research methodology. Her research aims to address racial/ethnic health disparities and implement team-based models of care. Current projects include chronic pain management, advance care planning, and dementia screening in the safety net. Dr. Chang has always been interested in integrative medicine as a means of promoting healthy aging and improving quality of life. She actively collaborates with the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine and is currently designing an interdisciplinary integrative medicine group visit program to provide comprehensive chronic pain management within the county health system.
