Research

Many of the full time faculty are actively involved in research  through Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute (Lundquist Institute) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.  The Lundquist Institute is one of the largest independent, nonprofit biomedical research institutes in the United States.  Please visit their site to learn more at Lundquist Institute.org.  Although residency is a busy time, it is also a time when residents can explore potential research interests and even begin to establish a career in academic neurology.  Residents have the most opportunity to pursue research opportunities during their PGY3 year as there are numerous elective blocks in that year.  Please see below for the most recent publications, presentations, and abstracts of our current residents and recent alumni.
