The Perinatal Research Center, in collaboration with LABioMed, a nationally renowned research center for over half a century, serves as the research arm of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Through these organizations, we are dedicated to the mission of improving the health of women through basic, translational, and clinical research. Our bench research in the fields of gene imprinting, biochemistry and neurobiology is robust with national recognition. The research arm of the department has been supported and continues to be supported by numerous grants from institutions such as the NIH, March of Dimes and the American Heart Association.
