What we do

We evaluate the impact and efficacy of particular health care practices on the health of children. The results of our studies are reported so that the information can be applied within other organizations and in other locales. Our group is concerned with the conceptual frameworks and structures that underlie the delivery of health care. We also examine the personal, social, economic, genetic and environmental determinants of health. Our goal is to integrate the evidence from our research into health care policy and practice in order to improve the health of the population.
