Learn More

The Division of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center specializes in the treatment of children with cancers and blood disorders. The division provides comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for children with hematologic and oncologic illnesses requiring standard or investigational therapies, and treatment for complications of therapy.

In collaboration with other medical specialists and clinical researchers, the Division of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology provides a wide range of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services to patients and their families, with a multi-disciplinary approach. This ensures families have access to physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, counselors, and child-life specialists when needed, as well as referrals to community support groups and other resources.

Our specialized team is dedicated to providing quality healthcare and support services to help families manage their child’s care successfully. As a public health center of Los Angeles County, we are committed to ensuring safe and accessible healthcare to local children and families, regardless of their ability to pay. In affiliation with the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, we provide an academic environment that delivers current and up-to-date emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.
