Sharon G. Adler, M.D.Chief and Program Director, Division of Nephrology & Hypertension

Welcome to the Division of Nephrology & Hypertension

Our program consists of four highly integrated components: general nephrology, dialysis, kidney transplantation, and research. Research elective blocks can be taken in Interventional Nephrology and/or in ultrasonography, in addition to the more customary research opportunities. The Nephrology fellowship training program is designed to prepare postdoctoral fellows for academic and/or clinical careers in the discipline of nephrology and hypertension. Over the years we have trained an elite group of nephrologists, and presently offer a traditional two year nephrology training program as well as a combined clinical/research fellowship that is three (or more) years in duration. The pages herein will provide greater detail about our program.
