Training

The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Harbor UCLA Medical Center offers a 2 year clinical program for MDs (Clinical track) which is designed for MDs who plan to concentrate their efforts in the practice of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Fellows are assigned to outpatient, inpatient, elective and research activities at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

In addition to expert university faculty, fellows receive instruction from a highly experienced and talented group of volunteer attendings with a wide breadth of community endocrinology practice experience.

Many of the graduates of our training program have gone on to develop gratifying, successful careers as independent investigators around the globe. M.D trainees in this track are provided ample clinical experience to be highly competent consultant endocrinologists.
