- General Endoscopy Procedures:
EGD, Colonoscopy with Bx, polypectomy, hemostasis, over the scope closure device (OTSC),
esophageal and anorectal manometry - Advanced Endoscopy Procedures:
– Endosonography (EUS, about 600 per year) with FNA/FNB, pancreas pseudocyst drainage,
extraluminal abscess drainage, tumor staging and treatment,
EUS guided liver biopsy, portal and hepatic vein pressure measurements,
EUS guided gallbladder drainage, EUS guided gastrojejunostomy
– Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
– Endoscopic Mucosal Dissection (ESD)
– Single Balloon Enteroscopy (ante- and retrograde)
– ERCP (about 500 per year) with cholangioscopy, endoscopy of the pancreatic duct,
bile and pancreatic duct stenting, schock wave lithotripsy
– Radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus
with and without dysplasia, treatment of radiation proctitis and angiodysplasias
– Full Thickness Endoscopic Resections (FTRD) of polyps and tumors in the GI tract
– Endoscopic Metal Stent Placements throughout the GI tract and biliary system
– Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF, “endoscopic Nissen
Fundoplication”)
