The Division of General Internal Medicine’s faculty precept on two of the six academic inpatient ward teams throughout the academic year. This provides our resident physicians a holistic, general internist perspective of caring for the hospitalized patient—with particular focus on care transitions and the coordination with the patients’ medical home.
