How many positions do you have each year?

We match 6 positions every year.

How many letters of recommendation do I need?

Every applicant must have three letters of recommendation with one of the letters from the Chair.

What platforms are being used for interview day?

We use Zoom for the interview Day. https://zoom.us/download Please make sure your Zoom application is up to date. Instructions and links will be sent out prior to the interview day.

Is there an event with the residents the night before?

No. At the end of the end of the season, we will host a “Harbor Hangout – ZOOM Meet and Greet” and a “Harbor-UCLA Diversity Zoom Cocktail Hour” for applicants that are still interested in learning more about our residents and culture. Zoom invitations will be sent out following interview requests.

When do I find out which faculty I am interviewing with?

Applicants will be emailed their individual schedules 3-4 days before the interview day. Zoom instructions and links will be sent out with the schedule.

Do I need to have a video for the interview day?

Yes, you need to have your video on for all of the meetings.

What do I do if the invite link does not work or my computer crashes?

We will provide instruction if the Zoom link does not work. Have no fear! Before your interview day, the faculty will be given your contact information in the event there is an issue with Zoom.
