Dear Colleagues and Alumni:
Let me first give thanks to all who have provided continued support to our program in the past. I would like to encourage all the alumni to stay in touch and be an active part of the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (HUMC) family (formerly known as King-Drew Medical Center (KDMC). We would love to hear from you, share your news with us, join us in event gathering, conferences and stay connected to social media. As we are looking forward to the next academic training year beginning July 2019, we continue to build on a successful program. We invite you to engage with us and participate as much as you can. Everyone at HUMC is working hard to
make and keep HUMC residents at the forefront of education. Our Alumni is our legacy and the ties that bind us as HUMC/ KDMC family. We want to continue this strong tradition and there are a number of ways HUMC/KDMC alumni can reconnect to the HUMC training Program—below are a few suggestions:
- Put on your HUMC/KDMC “ radar screen”for students searching for a high quality training program
- Host incoming interns/ prospective residents reception in your area
- Attend one of our celebrated graduation ceremonies
- Serve as Alumni Ambassadors
- Serve as Volunteer faculty staff
- Make Tax Deductible Gifts/ Donations to the Resident Education Fund (RED) by visiting http://labiomed.org/donate : donate monthly or yearly, or as low as $5-10/month (Be sure to include our account number on your check – #2003540000)
Annual Resident Education Fund directly supports:
Conferences
Advance Educational Courses
Travel Expenses
Cadaver Lab
Your support and donations will enable the HUMC Oral surgery program to continue to excel and rise in prominence among academic research residency training institutions in America, if not around the world.Remember our success is your success.
